CORE THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES
ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT PLANNING
We conduct a thorough initial assessment and mood disorder screenings to understand the individual's specific needs. Then, we develop personalized treatment plans that integrate traditional counseling, non-traditional methods, and family counseling based on the assessment outcomes.
YOUTH INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
Through group therapy sessions and collaborative activities, teens can build meaningful connections with their peers. This sense of community fosters a supportive network of individuals who are on a similar journey towards mental wellness.
Our model encourages teenagers to explore their internal landscape, develop a deeper sense of self-compassion, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence. Group work empowers teenagers to take an active role in their healing journey and build resilience in the face of life's challenges and enhances teenagers' relationships with themselves and others by promoting empathy, understanding, and effective communication.
TRADITIONAL COUNSELING
Individual counseling provides teenagers with a non-judgmental space to express their emotions, fears, and concerns. A trained counselor can offer empathy, validation, and guidance to help teenagers navigate their feelings and develop healthy coping strategies. It can also equip individuals with valuable skills, such as stress management, problem-solving, communication, and self-care practices. These skills empower teenagers to cope with life's challenges, build resilience, and enhance their overall well-being.
FAMILY COUNSELING
We offer regular family therapy sessions to address family dynamics, improve communication, and strengthen relationships. Through these sessions, we educate family members about mental health concerns and equip them with strategies to support their loved one's recovery journey.
Finally, we aim to provide a safe space for open dialogue, healing, and understanding among family members, promoting a supportive and nurturing environment.
NEUROFEEDBACK
By conducting regular neurofeedback sessions with each participant to monitor brainwave activity, we can analyze real-time feedback on participant’s brainwave patterns through visual or auditory cues to help them gain control over their brain functions.
PSYCHOEDUCATION AND SKILL BUILDING
We offer regular family therapy sessions to address family dynamics, improve communication, and strengthen relationships. Through these sessions, we educate family members about mental health concerns and equip them with strategies to support their loved one's recovery journey.
Finally, we aim to provide a safe space for open dialogue, healing, and understanding among family members, promoting a supportive and nurturing environment.

NON-TRADITIONAL
THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES
CREATIVE EXPRESSION
By incorporating activities like art therapy and mindfulness exercises, we encourage teens to express themselves, build resilience, and cultivate a sense of community. Creative expression outlets provide a safe space for teenagers to explore and express their emotions through artistic means, and to tap into their creativity, imagination, and authentic self-expression. Through artistic exploration, teenagers can discover new aspects of themselves, express their thoughts and feelings in non-verbal ways, and celebrate their unique identity.
BODY MOVEMENT AND MINDFULNESS
Yoga and mindfulness practices are efficient ways to enhance self-awareness, stress reduction, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. We will facilitate regular bodywork classes led by instructors who incorporate breathwork, meditation, and gentle movements to promote mind-body connection and relaxation. Through these classes, participants will learn mindfulness techniques that they can practice independently to cultivate present-moment awareness and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
OUTDOOR THERAPY
Our program also incorporates monthly wilderness therapy as a powerful tool to promote personal growth, self-reflection, and resilience. We facilitate wilderness expeditions led by experienced guides that include activities such as hiking, camping, team-building exercises, and nature-based therapy sessions. These expeditions will utilize the healing power of nature to help participants develop problem-solving skills, build confidence, enhance self-esteem, and gain a fresh perspective on their challenges.
AFTER CARE AND CONTINUED SUPPORT
We will develop individualized aftercare plans that ensure ongoing support and resources as participants transition out of the intensive program. Through planning, we can establish connections with community resources, including outpatient therapists, support groups, and wellness centers, to facilitate continued care. We also arrange follow-up sessions and periodic check-ins to monitor progress, provide guidance, and address any emerging needs.
