COMPASSIONATE OUTPATIENT CARE
Individualized, trauma-informed, comprehensive care from an attachment-based perspective
The Secure Attachment Initiative (SAI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mental health organization based in Lakewood, Colorado and serving the socioeconomically and ethnically diverse Denver Metro area. Since our founding in October 2023, we’ve supported children, teens, adults, and families affected by generational trauma, especially those who face barriers to accessing care.
Our name reflects our mission: helping people build strong, healthy connections within themselves and with others. We work to foster resilience and promote healing across generations. Whether through individual, group, or family therapy; interactive support groups; our intensive outpatient program; or other helpful resources and services, we’re honored to walk alongside our clients on their healing journeys.
We work with clients from a relational, experiential approach to help undo aloneness and create a secure attachment with self and others. We believe that every aspect of our being has positive intentions, even when their effects can be harmful. By embracing curiosity and being receptive to new inner experiences, we can move towards living a more authentic and intentional life.
